The miracle of the engineering

<2026-05-14 jue>

After a work trip, I want to make a summary of one of the best trips of my life. This time I had to go to Geolit, which is located in the middle of nowhere near Jaen; the primary mission was to execute some tests at MecUp - Engineering Services as part of my actual work. The adventure started on Sunday because I can't use my car. As you can see in the photos section of my web, my car (Peugeot 206 - 2004) is not the best or safest car in the world, so I needed one for a long trip. I took a rental car paid by the company for the road, so to avoid any problems, I went on Sunday at 18:00. The process was simple: just give your ID card, maybe some payment, and you're ready to take your keys.

After taking the keys, I searched for the car because I didn't know which one it was—they didn't tell me. Following my philosophy, "Simple Solutions to big problems," I just pressed the lock/unlock button of the car key to see the lights of the car blinking. One problem less, but one more started.

The rental car was a KIA Stonic 2026; it was completely new, with just 900 km. it was new, I open the doors and joined, I followed the basics adjust mirrors, seat, and turned on the car. okay, first problem, it didnt work. Yep, I didnt know how to start the engine. at this moment I started to look for tutorials on google "How to start a KIA Stonic car" or "101 How to drive" or "Driving advices for Dummies", yeah I desistí and ask for help a men was walking by the zone. He told me that new csrs like this needs to press brake and clucth at the same time before to turn on the car.
