About
Hi! I am Jorge, a mechatronic engineer passionate about electronics and programming. I am based in the south of Spain, specifically in Malaga.
Maybe you can find me on the internet by my nickname Rhyloo, depending on the game, forum, or social network. Sometimes it's impossible to get that nick, so I use Rhyloot when the first is not available. I use this website to share things about myself and track my projects, movies and test things. After several years of trying to have a personal webpage, I've had many attempts, as you can see here. Finally I have it.

Consider this page a little bio about me or perhaps an informal resume. If you are looking for something formal, I recommend checking out my resume.
I currently work at Clue Technologies, a company located in the Malaga TechPark, as a systems engineer. However, I prefer to say that my job is "solving problems" because some days I have to program and others I have to read schematics. As a mechatronic engineer, I feel comfortable in that environment. Unlike the traditional work of systems engineers—often focused on documentation, requirements, or infinite meetings—I am at a level where I do "real" engineering stuff.
In my free time, I watch movies, cook, and do engineering projects. My two main areas of interests are electronics (I really like working with µCs and using KiCAD for PCB design) and programming, but I am open to anything, as you can see in my photos section.
Studies
Bachelor's in Electronics, Robotics, and Mechatronics
I studied at the University of Malaga. It was five years of fun, sweat, and—why not—tears. Bah, just kidding… though the sweat and tears were real. I learned a lot, and after four subjects on robotics, I realized my true passion was electronics, so all my jobs have been related to it.
Regarding the bachelor's degree, I felt it was very well-rounded—like the great physicists of old who worked at Bell Labs across different fields of physics and engineering and revolutionized society. It's not exactly the same since we aren't in the fifties anymore, but I can ensure it is very complete. After this degree, you know a bit of mechanics, a bit of networking, a lot of electronics, a bit of programming, and plenty about robotics, automation, and how industries work.
Master's Degree in Electronic Systems for Smart Environments
I am currently taking this master's, so I don't have my final thoughts on it yet. However, if you need more action in your life because your job is boring, or if you simply want to learn more, I definitely recommend it.
